New branding for Shearings Grand Tourer
A new Shearings Holidays livery is featured on the latest 15 new Mercedes Tourismo Euro 6 coaches for its Grand Tourer operation.
The new livery, designed by Ray Stenning, deploys the blue colours of Shearings on the Grand Tourer fleet in place of gold.
“Having worked closely with Denis Wormwell and the team on the previous Shearings Setra coaches, they were keen to involve us in creating a fresh image for the brand new Grand Tourer coaches,” says Stenning. “This was to ensure the Tourismos were aligned with the whole Shearings livery.
“The brief was to come up with a premium design that delivers consistency, while also communicating the luxury image that the Grand Tourer brand is all about. Accordingly, we worked on modernising the existing design so that it’s fresh and appropriate for the high-end market, yet still instantly recognisable as Shearings.”

“Ray has done a great job in evolving the Grand Tourer brand essence in conjunction with the heritage blue of Shearings Holidays. We feel this will enhance the brand’s reputation and translate into higher brand recognition and uniformity across the fleet.”
Grand Tourer 2015 programme includes a collection of European holidays, taking in new experiences and destinations.
Among the tours on offer are a 16 days ‘Delights of Croatia & Dalmatian Coast’ itinerary priced from £1,759, which includes stays in Dubrovnik and Zagreb and a coastal journey along the beautiful Dalmatian coast; and ‘Italian Gourmet Escape’ priced from £1,049, which includes a tour of Vento and Emilia-Romagna regions and the chance to enjoy classical Italian gourmet experiences.
